On the phenomenon of bullshit jobs

There is this inexplicable feeling that the world is being managed in a ridiculously inefficient way. Our lives are, our work is and our resources are. It is a feeling that has been with me for a very long time and I suspect many others have it too. Yet calling it out, you are met with the utmost resistance. People are rather part of a bullshit system they know than face the unknown. I did not dare dream of an article that so elaborately puts this feeling into words. I sincerely encourage you to read this article by anthropologist David Graeber. This is a major issue in today’s world and it demands attention.
